Nairobi series [2008-2009]

Little Rhody: image made for Fortunata Salazar's piece in Sleepingfish N	Light Boxes: something i think i was making for Shane Jones Light Boxes [obviously they ended up going with something entirely different]	Lichen Box: another failed attempt for Light Boxes [the thinking being that the image would be inverted to better match perpetual February conditions] [ SM ]	Lichten Stain Boxes: i think this was yet another sketch for Light Boxes that went nowhere	Melampus: something i did for Brandon Hobson's piece in Sleepingfish N [ X ]	Lutz sink: a study for the reprint of Stories in the Worst Way by Gary Lutz [the art on the actual book cover i think got destroyed]

i didn't do a lot of art the year we were leaving in Nairobi (besides the below images for Ever)—here's 6 things i found. I didn't have a lot to work with besides termite wings & coffee grinds & moss & tissues & dirt & brown envelopes.
